How ad pricing works

Local businesses can pay to be featured on this site. Every paid placement is labelled Sponsored and names the business that paid for it.

Placements are sold one day at a time, in an auction that runs every morning at 7 a.m. Each business says the most it will pay for a day. The highest bids win, and nobody ever pays more than their own bid. The minimum prices below are the only reserve prices: there are no hidden ones.

Payment comes from a prepaid ad wallet. If a wallet can't cover a winning bid, that bid is left out and the next one wins instead.
